What's The Worst That Could Happen?
(Additional music)

The last collaboration up to date between Shaiman and director Sam Weisman (George of the Jungle, The Out-Of-Towners) ended badly.
Shaiman was in the project from the beginning, even in the movie posters, but in the last time, and due to the bad screenings (the whole thing already smelt bad from the shooting proccess), MGM tried to look for solutions fastly, one of them affects us: to replace Marc Shaiman's score with one by Tyler Bates.
Then we have a forgotteable comedy full of rap (the compact disc finally released is full of that kind of music), and the approach of Bates, too far from Marc Shaiman's regular style. But if one listens carefully and knows Shaiman's work, can discover the survival of a couple of themes with his personal stamp. Exactly: in the final credits is indicated that Amber and Tardio´s themes are written by Marc Shaiman.
Its worth too see this funny character: the detective Alex Tardio and the musical theme related with him, a tango.
Sam Weisman has returned to direct but Marc Shaiman has not returned to his side.
